Operates effectively in both PE-backed early-stage firms and in mature global enterprises via a targeted focus on best practice client engagement to increase revenue and shareholder value.
From 2013 to February 2019, Mr. Rosen served as President and as a director of Heron Therapeutics, Inc., and, from 2012 to 2013, served as Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Heron Therapeutics, Inc. Since 2014, he has served as a director of La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company. From 2014 to 2015, Mr. Rosen served as a director of Conkwest, Inc. (now NantKwest, Inc.). In 2012, he served as Managing Partner of Scotia Nordic LLC, a life sciences advisory firm. From 2011 to 2012, Mr. Rosen served as Senior Vice President of Global Commercial Operations at Dendreon Corporation. From 2005 to 2011, he served as Global Head of Oncology at Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Rosen was Vice President of the Oncology Business Unit at Sanofi-Synthèlabo Inc. Mr. Rosen received a B.S. degree in pharmacy from Northeastern University.
Dr. Ralph V. Boccia
Board certified in hematology, medical oncology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Founder & medical director, The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, located in Bethesda, Maryland and Germantown, MD.
Affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital, Suburban Hospital, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Holy Cross Hospital and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where he is a clinical associate professor of medicine for the University, as well as the medical director of the International Oncology Network (ION) Clinical Research Program and the chairman of ION’s Medical Advisory Panel.
Earned medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara School of Medicine. Completed a residency in internal medicine at Kern Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in hematology, oncology and bone marrow transplant at the combined UCLA-Veterans Administration Program and The National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health.
Member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology and the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation.
Kirill Basin is an entrepreneur and investor who works to identify solid, innovative, socially equitable ideas and to empower the teams behind those ideas in order to bridge the gap between a novel theory and sound business.
Kirill has experience as an operator and investor in the healthcare space and in cannabis-based ventures. Prior to entering the business world, Kirill worked on social justice initiatives in public defense and impact litigation. He continues to apply the principles underpinning social justice to his business career.
Kirill holds BAs in English Literature and Philosophy from Rutgers University and a JD from the NYU School of Law.
